Ticket Assignment and Constraints

Ticket once created can be assigned to team members (Contributors of the same team project) as any other work item.

It is also possible to constrain the list of assignees based upon the area in which the ticket belongs. Under the Configuration section of the TicketM web application you will find the tab for Routing. On that page you can select the area of the project and then from the dropdown list of individual contributors and Teams  / Project Group names select the appropriate option. If you select a team / Project Group then in the 'Assigned To' field list the available members will be only the members of that team / group. If you select a specific person then that ticket cannot be assigned to anyone else.
